We went all in on 1680D fabric for the cover and 19mm diameter, powder-coated steel for the frame–a combination that makes for a taut, strong, lasts-super-long grow tent. Some of our original OGs are still with their original buyers a decade after purchase! Ten years of tent tenure and…"tomatoes"? Tasty!
Kept Dark
Have you seen how zippers in other tents operate? They tend to be the weakest links as far as light leaks. We decided it was time to correct for that–and so all of our OG tents have that same 1680D fabric come across each zipper as a protective flap. Eliminating the biggest source of leakage helps seasonally-sensitive plants stay in the photoperiod they need for the harvests you want!
Kept Clean
Is there any healthy hobby that doesn't get a little messy? Even sudoku can get sweat and pencil dust on everything. Raising plants means you're dealing with soil, or LECA dust, or pruning, or splashes, or spills, or any other number of marvelously muddy things that make this past time what it is.
So how do you keep all that off your indoor floors? You use a grow tent with a flood tray built right into the floor! The 8x16 is equipped with a floor that can stand up to messes, giving you time to sweep and mop before anything leaks. Your baseboards will thank you.
Kept Clear
Contaminants in your indoor grow? Not on our watch. There are several reasons why your grow is in a grow tent, not on a windowsill, and keeping it safe from harsh changes in environment is a big one. Keeping it safe from creepy crawlies, bad fungi, and curious pets is another. That's why we paid such good attention to all the ports in the perfect storm that's our grow tent. The outlet ports for electricity, and the ventilation ports for airflow all cinch shut from the inside and the outside, holding drafts and infections at bay!
